About the “March Remembrance” Initiative

The “March Remembrance” initiative is a humanitarian and memorial campaign launched by the NGO Pandurica, in cooperation with the Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral and the Diocese of Budimlja and Nikšić. Its goal is to remind both the domestic and international public of the suffering of the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija during March 1999, when the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia began, and March 2004, when the March Pogrom took place. This initiative is dedicated to preserving the memory of these tragic events while also providing concrete assistance to affected families.

How Can You Participate?

You can participate in the initiative by purchasing and wearing a badge in the shape of a Peony flower – a symbol of endurance and sacrifice. Funds collected from badge sales are directed to helping Serbian families in Kosovo and Metohija. Last year, the collected funds provided tractor trailers, stoves, cows, sheep, firewood, as well as financial support for students, families without income, and those in need of money for medical treatments.
