Milosavljević family

On December 7, 2024, members of the Pandurica Association, together with priest Danilo Zirojević and monk Isajija from the Visoki Dečani Monastery, visited the village of Vukojevići in the vicinity of Zubin Potok, Kosovo and Metohija. The occasion was the “March Remembrance” initiative.

The host of the gathering was the Milosavljević family, who, as part of the initiative, received a newly built facade for their house and a purchased cow. The family consists of six members, including two minor children. The host is extremely grateful for the assistance, which means a lot to them in their efforts to remain on their ancestral land. This family has never left their village and lives off agriculture. As they say, they receive no external assistance and survive purely through their labor and the sale of their products.

The village is located on the slopes of the Brnjačko Lake canyon and is 15 kilometers away from Zubin Potok. It is accessed via a dirt road, which is quite difficult to traverse. Nearby is the Brnjak Monastery, which we also visited on our way back.

We warmly bid farewell to our dear hosts, hoping to see them again, and wished them well-being and perseverance.
